what is soul therapy?

Any pain, trauma, negative emotion, suffering that we experience is coming from the pain of the neshama (soul). If we want to heal on the deepest level, on a root level, the healing comes through the neshama, through understanding the spiritual work that Hashem wants from us.
“A nisayon (challenge) is only a garment for the spiritual work that Hashem wants us to do” Sichot hitchazkut.

We often want to push away and remove the negative emotions/experiences from our lives. Soul therapy teaches you to embrace them and accept them, as they are Hashem talking to us, guiding us, just like a signpost, to the inner work that He wants us to do. When we release the opposition from our heart we are open to find the messages that Hashem is sending us, the weak muscles, the disconnected/weak roots that need to be strengthened and reconnected.

Any problem or mental or emotional challenge that we have, is sent with precision from the Creator with an important message. The more that we listen to the messages and the guidance that is hidden in them, and we agree to change, so our suffering decreases.

Soul Therapy teaches you to process your experiences in a way that brings light and not darkness. The deepest way of healing the subconscious is through a relationship with the Creator. It is a deep inner journey of understanding oneself, on all the levels of self, human level, cognitive level and spiritual level to free ourselves from the consciousness that creates suffering.

yael rivka joffe

Hi, I am Yael Rivka Joffe, a wife, mother, torah educator and also passionate about understanding human makeup and how to achieve well being.

My journey began well over a decade ago. I was struggling with a severe autoimmune condition. I had tried almost all that conventional medicine had to offer, I was sticking to a rigid diet and trying everything and anything that would potentially bring healing from the alternative world of medicine, from chinese medicine to energy healing and much more in between. All my energy was being spent on trying to change the situation externally and was not producing any results.

And then it dawned on me. Hashem was talking to me, He was guiding me to go inside, to heal my inner world. I started with a daily practice of hitbodedut (speaking to Hashem). I then began to search for sources of healing and wellbeing that are based in torah. We have so much available to us on how to live in the world, what to do and when to do. It has to be that our Creator teaches us as well how to build our inner world and not just survive but thrive in the face of what seems to be adversity, and how to live with strength, faith and joy that is not dependent on external circumstances.

With Divine providence I found Soul Therapy, a healing modality developed by Chava Shmulovitch. The first three things that I found in her writings of what she teaches is to build a strong inner ground that is not moved by external circumstances, to create gan eden in this world, and that healing comes from a relationship with the Creator - I was home, I knew that I had found what I was looking for. All problems come from the neshama (the soul) and therefore the deepest healing happens through the strength of the soul.

I am so excited to offer this to the English speaking community and to share your healing journey with you!

Rebbetzin Joffe has helped me through some of the most difficult life challenges that I have had. Through her deep knowledge of the structure and intricacies of the Jewish soul, and her profound insight into emuna, I can only best describe her as a true friend with my greatest spiritual teshuva and spiritual potential, at heart. I have gone to various social workers and psychologists over the years, who, even as they may excel in their fields of trauma and conflict resolution, cannot plumb the depths of meaning of interpretation of one's life events and raise another up with joy and inspiration to, with the help of Hashem, be the best that they can be.
I have been working with Yael for close to 6 months. The minute you walk into her room Yaels presence radiates that of warmth, love, kindness and calm and her teachings emulate that as well. Yael has redefined the meaning of Emunah in my life and has taught me and helped me get closer to Hashem through love and dissolved the unhealthy fear.
The exercises Yael has taught me has shown me that Hashem is with me constantly and always has my back in everything in my life. Yael is a true gem and an angel. After every session I feel lighter, more invigorated and leave with pure joy in my heart. My wish is for every woman to experience this pure joy and light and love and for their lives to be changed by this incredible angel .
Rebbetzin Yael Rivka, mentor, teacher, friend, rebbetzin and role model - taught me what it means to have real emunah. That it is not an abstract concept but rather about a real and genuine relationship with our creator and a true understanding that He is always waiting for us to turn back to him, that it is never too late and that we can turn back at any time. He loves us and waits for us unconditionally. All it takes is for us to awaken our connection to Him which can be done through various ways, one of which is meditating on His presence and direction in our lives and that everything that’s happening in our lives is being driven by Hashem, always out of love for us and for our ultimate good. But even just a superficial knowledge of this is sufficient to enable one to just cry out to Hashem and He is always there. Yael Rivka helps put into words the depth of feelings that one experiences but is typically unable to articulate. She helps give words and life to our innermost thoughts and what our neshoma deeply knows through its essence as it is always connected to Hashem. But in this world our business and distractions make us forget what our soul simply understands as it is inextricably linked to its source. Yael Rivka helps find life and a voice to this part of us. She helps to align the extrernal superficial parts of our minds and hearts to our innermost neshomas. She awakens and lights up our soul and reminds us what we are truly yearning for and what is truly important in this world.
BH I have been working with Mrs Joffe for over two years now and it has impacted my life for the better. I feel a deeper sense of calm, peace and gratitude to Hashem. She gives me the opportunity to ask my challenging hashkafic questions and helps me reframe my life in an empowering way. I walk out of my sessions with her smiling and am so appreciative that Hashem has helped me connect with her!
I have always considered myself to be blessed with a profound intra personal intelligence, an ability to be deeply aware of my inner psycho spiritual states and experiences. I have never found a match to facilitate the inner processes of my being until I began soul therapy with Rebbetzin Yael Rivka. She held up the most perfect clear mirror to my inner processes. Her deep soulful listening, humble intuitive questions and gentle compassion are fertile ground for rebirthing Self. She provides a clarified empty vessel of self that comes from her own deep inner work, her emunah light and her identification with being a true eved Hashem that allows one to self discover in. This is not a psychological therapy, it’s a process of deep spiritual transformation at root. She is a gifted facilitator of Chava Shmiluvitz‘s brilliant body of work. Her compassion and love of the truth of who her clients are at Source magnitize their essence to flourish. In 3 or 4 sessions I was blessed with what can sadly take others years to achieve if that!
